HP LaserJet 1012 --- Review & Specs

HP LASERJET 1012
Average User Rating:

Advantages:
The LaserJet 1012 is half the size of most laser printers and also sports a small price. Crisp, clear text. Easy set-up. Warms up in only 10 seconds, and spits out 15 pages per minute. Generally trouble-free.

Drawbacks: The LaserJet 1012 has only one paper tray, so you will have to manually change between letter and legal size paper. The tray is small compared to office-duty models, and only holds 150 sheets. As with most printers, the needed USB cable is not included. Book readers and underliners will lament the lack of a paper manual, but there is an adequate user 200+ page user guide in PDF format on CDROM. USB only, no parallel port. Does not work with Linux operating systems.
